INTERVIEWS
I've had the great honor to speak with several key people from various points on the drum break map. From drummers to producers to collectors, hear what these cats have to say about the whole thang.
SOULMAN (10-2-1998)
The beat-knowinest, knowledge-sharinest, record-collectingest beat-miner that ever lived, Soulman's been DJ'ing since he rode in a schoolbus, and he speaks out here on subjects from DJ Shadow to Puffy to shoplifting.
MIKE VAN OLDEN (2-19-1999)
Mike Van Olden, Fishguhlish, Molasses...this guy's a walking pseudonym factory. Whatever you call him, he's the man behind the bulk of the "Drum Crazy" series and the "Conversations With My Sanity" EP on Ubiquity Records.
DAVE GARIBALDI (3-20-1999)
Dave Garibaldi: you most likely know him as the backbone of Tower of Power. He's been one of the most influential men ever in the development of modern funk drumming, winning the Modern Drummer Magazine readers' poll FIVE YEARS STRAIGHT.
SAMM CULLEY - OF SKULL SNAPS (1-1-2006)
It finally IS a New Day, now that one of the original members of this groundbreaking band gets to tell his story for the first time.
